TREE and SKY: The Secrets of Meshyah’s World a children’s book for grades 3-5, is this Author’s first children’s book and you would not know this by reading it. This novel is Science Fiction/Fantasy and is made up of 3 stories with some history and scientific jargon that the Author explains in a way that any child reading it can understand.

The Author’s imagination and writing style that gives the character’s depth that has you drawn into their world from the very first page. You are taken on a journey with Shy and her friends that start with her tenth birthday and the following two stories on her eleventh and twelfth birthdays. You are not only reading a futuristic children’s novel but you’re learning something while you’re reading it. The stories also tells how to take care of nature, family, friends, neighbors, and how to learn from your elders and how vastly different cultures can come together and live peacefully in villages and take care of each other.

This novel is 5 stars and cannot wait to read the next set of stories the Author has in store for Shy and her friends.
